Having listened to the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce President, Geoff Underwood at the Chamber awards this year talk about businesses needing to do more for charities, Brightbulb Design MD Matt Jeffery decided to set a yearly charity from the start of each financial year for Brightbulb to raise money throughout the year on behalf of that charity. In this first year we have chosen the Caring Cancer Trust as our charity of the year.

Matthew Jeffery comments

“Here at Brightbulb we want to give back to our community and to those that go out of their way to help and improve other peoples lives. Having young children ourselves, the Caring Cancer Trust has touched us with what they do for many kids with Cancer and recovering from cancer. We have worked closely with the Caring Cancer Trust for several years and thought they would be the ideal charity to help in this first year.”

We are very proud to be supporting the Caring Cancer Trust. This charity is very close to our hearts and the work that they do is inspirational! Not only do they help fund non-animal tested cancer research and cancer prevention research but they also raise money to run the Kids2go programme.

Kids2go is a scheme that the Caring Cancer Trust run, in order to provide escorted healing holidays of adventure and creativity for children recovering from cancer. This helps them regain their self-confidence and re-ignite their passion for life after the trauma and suffering caused by their illness.

Throughout the year, Brightbulb Design will be holding various charity events to help raise money for this amazing charity. We have set up a mydonate page for anyone that would like to donate to the charity, and will be using the same link for each charity event we hold.

We look forward to updating the page for each event we hold and seeing your generous donations coming in.
