Cater Wight approached us to elevate their long-standing brand as they expanded partnerships with organisations like the NHS and Isle of Wight Council. Their existing identity no longer reflected their credibility or growth, so they needed a refreshed, professional look supported by a modern, easy-to-manage website.

journey
We collaborated closely with Cater Wight to refresh their brand identity and create a website that better reflects the future of the business. This involved digging into their heritage, exploring their ambitions for growth, and shaping both the visual identity and online experience into something modern, confident, and long-lasting.
Discovery – Our work began with a deep dive into the Cater Wight story. We asked about their roots, their reputation on the Isle of Wight, and where they want the business to go next. During this stage we discussed the value of retaining their long-standing colours, which have been recognised locally for more than 45 years, while updating the palette to feel fresher and more contemporary. All of this helped us build a clear direction for the new identity.
Design – With a solid understanding of the brand, we developed several logo and identity concepts. We explored typography, colour refinements, iconography, and layout ideas before presenting three distinct routes. The Cater Wight team spent time reviewing the options and we encouraged them to gather internal feedback to make sure the choice felt right for everyone. Only minimal refinements were needed, and one concept naturally stood out. Once approved, we wrapped up the full identity package, including logos, final artwork files, and a set of brand guidelines to support consistent use going forward.
Web Development – Once the brand identity was finalised, we moved into the website phase. Using WordPress as the foundation, we introduced a selection of flexible templates that could be adapted to suit their content and structure. After choosing the best layout direction, our team customised the designs and built the site so it worked smoothly across desktop, mobile, and tablet. The result is a clean and easy-to-navigate website that puts Cater Wight’s offering front and centre.
Handover u0026amp; Training – Before launch, we walked the Cater Wight team through managing their new website. We covered how to update content, edit pages, add new sections, and keep everything running smoothly. By the end of the session they felt confident taking the reins themselves, ready to maintain and grow the site without needing ongoing technical support.
tech
The Cater Wight website was built in WordPress, giving them a stable, flexible platform that’s easy to manage day-to-day without any technical fuss.
The intuitive content management system lets their team update projects, swap out images, and adjust text whenever needed. It keeps things simple and puts them fully in control of their site.
Another key benefit of WordPress is its scalability. As Cater Wight grows their offering or wants to expand their content, the platform can evolve with them through new templates, functionality, and integrations, all without the need for a full rebuild.

outcome
With their refreshed branding and new WordPress website in place, Cater Wight now has a modern, confident identity that feels aligned with where the business is heading. The updated look carries their long-standing reputation forward while giving them a more polished and professional presence both online and offline.
The new site presents their services clearly and is simple for their team to manage day-to-day. Throughout the project the collaborative approach paid off, resulting in an identity and website that not only look great but also give Cater Wight a solid platform to build on as their client base continues to grow.
