fanni completes kickstart

We are delighted to announce that our copywriter Fanni has completed her kickstart placement and has been so successful in her role over the past 6 months that we have decided to make her a fully fledged member of the Brightbulb team. Originally, Fanni started at Brightbulb Design as part of the government’s Kickstart program, which provides individuals with a 6-month contract to work 25 hours a week.

In the past, Fanni had a blog, which she later abandoned in pursuit of her passion for creative writing and fiction. She has written a children’s book that will be published in 2022. Her journey then led her to publish short stories on a popular publishing platform. Fanni wanted to gain knowledge in various ways and develop her skills further, and she was ready to make a big change. Fanni’s role at Brightbulb Design began on 2nd July 2021, and she has shown incredible passion and a real desire to learn and grow here at Brightbulb. We knew Fanni offered something to our team, developing her skills across various areas. Her writing skills and attitude that she has brought to our business proved valuable and she is now ready to challenge herself further and improve on a great foundation of the Kickstart initiative.

Fanni’s skill set expanded during her time in the program. She learned how to work in a busy office environment answering phone calls and managing important tasks while being on time for deadlines. As a result, she was able to sharpen and develop her social media skills while working in assistance with our influencer and social media strategist, Oliver Howells.

Fanni said:

“This was the perfect opportunity for me to start anew. When I heard about the role under the Kickstart scheme, I immediately knew what I needed to do. Of course, change is hard, however being in a team of bright individuals keeps me inspired.”

She later continued on the impact that working with Brightbulb had on her professional and personal work:

“Working with the team [of Brightbulb Design] wasn’t just inspirational but also gave me the persistence I lacked previously which led me to abandon a few of my personal projects. Along with persistence, I have also learned to be more organised which then helped me on a more personal level as well as professionally.”

Fanni will continue to be a part of our team, and her expertise will continue to bring more to our team and our clients.
